Jen entered into the field of dentistry in 2007 as a pediatric dental assistant. After only a few months of working in the dental field, she knew this was the career path she wanted to take and decided to change majors from elementary education to dentistry. Pediatric Dentistry was the perfect fit since it combined several things that she was looking for in a career. She found it extremely rewarding to help children overcome their fears and enjoy going to the dentist, achieve healthy smiles, and have the opportunity to teach them how to maintain their healthy smiles. Jen went on to graduate from Bergen Community College in 2009 with an associates degree in Applied Science/Dental Hygiene. In March of 2017, Jen joined Hudson Valley Pediatric Dentistry and has truly enjoyed working alongside Dr. Geri, the HVPD team, and all of the awesome families in the practice. While not at the office, Jen enjoys spending time with her fiance Gareth and their two children Jordyn and Jayden. She hopes to land a spot some day on the Netflix show Nailed It!

When Kalean is not working you can find her outside hiking, camping, skiing and spending time with her husband, baby girl and vizsla, Kenna.
